I need to replace the two hoses that go up to the expansion tank behind the cab. I’m hoping I can just go to the auto parts store and buy bulk heater core hose by the foot.
No, I need to call you and enlist your vast experience to locate the issue. It still generates fine until the load goes over 50% then trips. I actually had the short circuit trip last time I ran it, but may have had the legs unequally loaded when a load suddenly came online.
Congrats on the truck Russ. Owning a MV is not an exact science. There are always little projects and improvements... It's one of the reasons I enjoy having a truck.

Very nice rig. It looks like a newer model than my A0. Some of the cab lights and marking lights seem to be different. Definitely post updates and photos of the recovery. You’ll be glad you have the MV/T tires at least on the steer axle.
Welcome aboard! You’ll find one soon enough and then be hooked on green iron. I now think CARC is my favorite treatment for vehicular metal surfaces. What kind of rig are you considering?
Annual Georgia Rally. It starts tomorrow. I wish I could go... maybe next year.

The box on a stock M-1079 has spring loaded bolt mounts to allow for flex. There are several discussions in various threads here on how to mount a box and overcome this flex.
