Were you able to use the original bolts to mount? Or did you have to source longer ones?
I am interested in one if you are making them. You can PM me cost info.
I know this doesn't exactly answer your questions, but gives some good info nonetheless. I can get out the tape measure when I get home later this week if no one answers before.

Work has me 200 miles away from home tonight. I have 4 tires ready and waiting. Time, all I need is time.
I plan to put these on the truck and haul the last 3 MVT’s with me to my buddies shop. The remaining tires to switch are on the truck and I will just mount the MVT’s and re-install on...
Thanks Juan, I figured it was something like that. Is the wheel material with run flats aluminum? Is that an easy way to distinguish? Or do the early MRAP's also use steel? Obviously the clear distinction goes out the window when people start taking them apart and putting on new tires. However...
My guess is you’ll get recommendations to buy a complete matching set. If you’re like many of us, that can be cost prohibitive. I would suggest taking them all out and charging them separately for starters. The NOCO chargers do a good job of renewing each battery but they really need done...
I contacted a friend with a used car business to see about using his shop... Let me just say, a quality Snap on 1/2” impact and a high volume air supply make quick work of these wheels. Disassembly was a breeze! He even had a duck billed sledge hammer and real tire irons. All that and a dash of...
I'm going to try to make it over again. Different truck this year, but looks similar. :driver:M-1083 vs. past M-1078. Do you have any other MV guys talked into coming?
Thank you for posting photos snowtrac. I’ve been wondering about your truck and the outfitting you’ve done. More photos of your travels and interesting jobs are always appreciated. When you have time of course.
Welcome TS! Simp5782 has good trucks in Memphis. Have you connected with him to see the one he has? I’m real close to you in the Bellevue area almost to the Cheatam Co. line.
Wow! I think I saw that rig recently for sale with a matching trailer. I doubt the parts get listed here in TN, but we will be on the lookout for that sucker. Hopefully we can find it whole and get it returned to its new owner.
It sounds like you’ve eliminated the drag link and tie rod ends. My money is on the steering box itself or wheel bearings. Can you have someone sit in the cab and operate the steering while you lay underneath? Or maybe just leave a cellphone camera down there while you operate the wheel if you...
Yeah, I had MV/T’s on my previous truck. I really liked them. These XML’s are kind of dry rotted. I’ve already had to replace 3 XML, just to be safe on the road. Now I will have a full set of decent tires. ...and 3 decent used XML to sell to offset cost.
Mark, The Goodyears weigh a bit over...
