Welcome. Flasher relays are not all the same. Some work with LED , some don’t, and some need help. Which relay do you have? Did you remove the light in the signal selector arm? Did you search old posts for the very detailed answers?

Matt. RWH does these rebuilds for a living. Would you buy used batteries or headlights to install? I doubt it. So you might want to have the IP rebuilt prior to installation. Or face the music later. My $0.02
