There is a solenoid which was probably new with your rebuilt starter but there is also a 12 to 24 volt relay under the steering column. It frequently goes bad but most of the time it gets stuck on and fries the starter before you can get it disconnected. I would check to make sure it is working...
I really wanted the M447 but so did someone else. I was bidding on the M127's also but they went to high for my cheap butt. I have more of a use for the M146 than the M127 so I let them go.
I figured I could fix the M101 enough to use. All in all I will only have about $1000 into all of them. If I decide to scrap the M101 I will get with you guys. The only thing I don't know about is why the M146 is on the ground. Do the legs fold up? I am figured they are gone and bid accordingly.
Lansing is just too close for me. I got the M146 on the ground to use for a storage shed and the other M146 will be made into an RV for events. I also got the M101 for regular towing duties. I just have to figure out why the bed is facing North East while the frame is facing North. It does not...
RE: duece yard tractor
Based on the chart posted the rig would be legal in Michigan. The things it does not tell you in the chart is that recreational duals require a special driver's license endorsement and the front trailer must be a fifth wheel. Bumper towing two trailers would not be. I...
If your shocks were not gas charged they will not return to fully extended. Just a point of order. Regular non gas charged shocks will compress and not extend. They only dampen.
Chris,
I am sure you would give me plenty of other reasons.
The law is subjective just like noise statutes. I bit of black smoke coming out when nailing it would not get you pulled over. Fogging the area so the people behind you can not see you is the problem that will get you pulled...
RE: Re: RE: Robyn
Reciprocity applies to vehicle registration also. I think you got bad advice. If you are not operating commercially you do not need IFTA. An unloaded tractor used for commerce is still a commercial vehicle. In other words the circumstances may lead a reasonable person to...
RE: Re: RE: Robyn
Did you fight the NC ticket? You should have. Reciprocity agreements are what keep this from happening and if you were legal in your home state you would have been legal in all states. In Michigan you are required provide proof of insurance when stopped. A resident will get a...
Here is the law for the Michigan guys. Excessive smoke or fumes is a no no. If it looks like you are smoking bees out of the hive someone will probably pull you over sooner or later. I have seen some guys that lay down a smoke trail like it was Omaha beach on D-day.
Chris, that chart would not...
Here is the paragraph of Michigan law regarding lift blocks.
(4) Notwithstanding subsection (2), a person shall not operate a motor vehicle having lift blocks between
the front axle and springs, or with lift blocks that exceed 4 inches in height between the rear axle and springs
in addition to...
