    Media blasting near Detroit?

I am having trouble finding a media blaster. I need a couple of fenders done. Anyone know of any place in South Eastern Michigan or the Toledo area? Thanks Chuck

Did you have the light switch set to the stoplight setting? Glad you made it home in one piece. Congrats.

    Are the BIG resistors needed?

The box is for the ambulances. They have AC so they have a 28 volt alt instead of two 14 volt alts to make room for the AC compressor. I can't remember if the box is a 24 volt to 12 volt converter or a battery isolator to keep the batteries in balance. The large 14 volt alts were required by the...

    M105 tailgate, "legs?"

The one my uncle has is a factory build rotary type. No button pushing except the on button for the three phase equipment.

    M35A2 vs M818 tractor towing

Slow but do able. I pulled mine 205 miles home. Took a while to get up to speed and the slowest I got was 35 mph on a steady hill outside Toledo.

    M105 tailgate, "legs?"

I don't know the exact electrical magic but I know someone that had a rotory phase converter for generating 3 phase from regular residential single phase 240. I am pretty sure it is a single phase electric motor on one side turning a common shaft with a 3 phase generator on the other end. Kind...

    M105 tailgate, "legs?"

RE: M105 tailgate, "stilts?" It is a carpenter's trailer and the tailgate is wood. It raises and lowers like a tommygate. A radial arm saw is in the back. It moves forward and back onto the tailgate. It is Lane's trailer and it is pretty neat when upright. There is a hand hydraulic pump on the...

    M105 brakes locked

If you have an airtank open the drain. I think it is the A2s that have the failsafe brakes. It must have air to the emergency line to release the brakes unless the air in the tank is drained. If this is not the case then the shoes are stuck to the drums.

    24v to 12v dilema

I am sure is you did some fancy electronic regulation it might work, but as I said, if the batteries get unbalanced then you are going to fry them both. Its your batteries and your truck so do as you wish.

    24v to 12v dilema

You should not fun the 12 out from the alt back to one battery. The two batteries need to be balanced or the 24 volt side of the alt will fry them. When one batter is charge more than the other one the alt works hard to bring the weak battery back up. When it does so it over charges the other...

    Tax

When I present my paperwork showing I have already paid sales tax Michigan does not charge it a second time unless the tax collected was less then the 6% that Michigan charges.

NEED TWO (2) DIGITAL LIGHT SWITCHES FOR HUMVEEs ------------

RE: Re: RE: NEED TWO (2) DIGITAL LIGHT SWITCHES FOR HUMVEEs Remove and replace the relays inside. They are surface mount so it takes an experienced hand. I had my uncle do it. He used to have an electronics assembly business. The relays are not cheap. I think I had about $30 or so into the...
