I pulled home my M103 trailer with the two 10 gensets on it. I pulled it with my M1009 cucv. I did not go to fast. Only 65 at the most. It really was not much of a problem. I added extra space for stopping but a couple of panic stops did just fine.
The starting system is not different but the charging system is. It uses a 24 volt alt to make room for the air conditioning compressor. It then has a converter to convert the 24 volts back to 12 volts and I think this converter box is the big problem with the ambulance variants.
He is still selling spaces. I just bought two. He asked me what I was bringing so he could figure where to put me and in what configuration. I think he is working on it during the next couple of days.
I drove my H7 deuce home and the only thing I had to fix was a speedo problem. My cucv was an H7 and it needed a new starter and flex plate. Don't go by the codes. Go look at it. Good luck.
The starter and glow plug system uses 24 volt. One battery (the front one) is the one that goes down when you leave the lights on or such. You can get away with jumping just the front battery from another vehicle in a situation like leaving the lights on but if both batteries are down then you...
Great pics. Thanks. I am having problems getting my video out of my camcorder. When I get it sorted out I will post. It was a great time for sure.

On the 800 series the dash switch for L and R is just selecting which tank is reading on the gauge. Don't know if it has any relevance to your problem but I do see you do have two sending units. Also my 818 has a selector valve on the floor to actually select which tank to draw from. Seems the...
We had those tie downs on our 900 series gun trucks. We did not routinely carry nuclear ord. Mostly HE and the such. We had egg crate structures for holding the projos and we used the tie down points to secure the crates. We were nuclear capable until the salt II talks brought an end to that.
I am bringing my towbar so I got you covered. The Freq stuff was answered by PM and in the Ham Radio thread. Here is a copy of the reply.
Hi All:
We are planning details for the Ft Custer trail ride this weekend. I just received a message from a member regarding what COMMO we'll be using. The...
My post was to help you out. If you find the right police officer that knows it is not a 92 then you will have to go down the road before you get the truck out of impound. m16ty and I were just trying to help you out. If you want to get collectors insurance or a historical plate you will not be...
One thing not brought up is the fact that there is no way it is a 92. The M39 series is the series that spawned the M52. The M52a2 is the last in the line before the 800 series started replacing them in the early 70's. I am not sure when they stopped making them but it would be safe to say in...
The common E blend was E-15. It is 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline. E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. If you had trouble with 15% I would say you would also have a big problem with the E85 eating all the rubber in the fuel system.
