    Well if you look at the link and page I posted , it is near the plug port inside the truck . Follow the wires from the plug port.

    Rule 1 of working electrical is to disconnect the batteries. That said since you now have a overcharging problem A power spike probably fried the voltage regulator.

    Did you unhook the batteries before you tried to take the PCB off ?

    No where in that does that address the FMVSS . And just because they send a notice doesn't mean they can't do it . Isn't that how the previously registered HMMWVS got their plates pulled ?
