    IP leaks

Sorry Ron,I just saw this post this evening, It cost me $363 several years ago to get the IP rebuilt on the 816,that included going through the aux governer as well, money well spent in my opinion. BTW,I used Truck Pro in Charlotte NC,same place that I got to rebuild the IP on my 400 Big Cam...

    M915A1/Big cam 3 probs

Reb87, Does the miss/stumble clear up on acceleration or progressively get worse? In either case I would run a bottle or 2 of injector flush from a Cummins dealer through it first, the injector(s) may have some carbon buildup on the tips, causing incorrect atimozation of the fuel. If this...

    Gmc m211 #3

Well folks,vs starting another thread,i'll just use this one, since it involves this truck, I finally got around to testing the trans pressure on this truck today,I must have gotten lucky, cause I have 3 GMCs that all have good front and rear pumps, this truck made 110 psi at idle hot in all FWD...

    Successful M37 Recovery

I definetly made sure I mentioned that NDT[thumbzup],it REALLY looks better in person than it does in the pictures.BTW that isn't a repro tailgate,it's an original no rust or dents/warping,that's unbelieveable in itself!!! Brian really did get a NICE B1,both running and looking. PS,Dodges...

jeep straight 4?? what is this engine? 24V can anyone tell me please.

I agree with 123Mack,M151 series, the inverted spin on oil filter and the side draft carb give it away, does it have a mechanical fuel pump as well? if so it's probably an A2 engine( I think).

Just picked up a deuce, some issues!

Hmmm, fairly sure I have a CCKW trans and t-case that I pulled out of a wrecked M211 that someone had converted over. not a bad setup, just that odd shift pattern to deal with.

Where can my M818 go on stock NDT's?

Maybe this will help you out a bit? Not mine, but someone I know.

Just picked up a deuce, some issues!

Seems odd that the reduction unit would stick in high vs low, unusual. You may want to search for majortom's article on here titled,Hydramatic heaven,it'll probably help you out a lot.

    I think I want a wrecker

Hmmm,i guess I can comment on this, Having owned 3 now(sold 2) I can confidently say,I don't know what I would do without one,the do have their failings at times The 816 was heavy and woefully underpowered for highway use, although I probably logged more miles on it than any other MV I've...

    M-172A1 Trailer Ramps

That's cheating M1075,you're supposed to wrestle them around by your self and strain yourself:grd:

    Passing of Sid Beck

Sid will be greatly missed, his knowledge of MV was quite extensive, great guy to talk with as well. Prayers be with his family during this difficult time.

    Well,now I own a 915A1

Nope,I paid off the dually, Tally so far, $1235 per year for tag $535 every 3 months for insurance($2140/year) $550 per year for heavy hwy use tax $100 per year per state for overwidth permits(NC and SC) So $4125 so far, plus what I paid for the truck+injection pump rebuild+trailer and 3 new...

    Well,now I own a 915A1

NDT is correct, Tax and all it was $402,and that included a new 24v shutdown solenoid. Makes a HUGE diference, cranks right away,no bog on take off, I get a small amount of black smoke on acceleration,it does idle hunt a bit when cold, but that's it. Truck has PLENTY of power,it will tow a...

Official 2010 SS Ga Rally Info thread

That would be 39.5 in high unloaded Kenny. But Adam's trailer was missing a tire or 2,so it may sit a bit sideways. I'll have mine there as well, but it may sit a bit lower,915 isn't as tall at the fifth wheel as a 818.

    M915A1 trans jump?

Folks,I have a question of the 915A1(Allison trans) owners out there, Seems mine has a odd quirk, hot or cold ,partial or full throttle it will skip from Lockup first gear directly to lockup second gear, skipping converter second all together,I am running the proper weight oil and have changed...

    Jeff City, MO M915A1's

Hmmm,I guess my 915A1 is right there with stock trim then,it'll only manage 63 mph(GPS and radar verified) at a governed 2350 rpm with the 1100 x 22.5 wheels/tires. Granted,it will manage that empty or loaded, uphill or down.
