I did not use a zero rate. The spring pads and u bolt plates have 3 positions built into them.
I used a zero lift shackle flip from TNA and will make up the 2" difference from removing the blocks with a longer shackle so not as severe of a change as the ORD flip kit. Plus the TNA flip is...
Sounds like the fork bushings in the T case. 208's (and t cases in general) are fairly easy to rebuild if you're mechanically inclined. They're also not super expensive to just buy another and swap. You could also swap to an np241 and get a lower low range while you're at it.
Most of that is old carc paint, dirt and metal dust from cutting so many things in that area. They sure laid it on thick underneath to where it was dripping. The truck also lived in Illinois for a few years.
This is what I've got so far. I've got some longer shackles that were going on my Silverado to lower it but they're about the length I think I need to bring the rear up to match the front so going to play with those before ordering diy4x shackles.
Finally got both hangers off. Used a cut off wheel to cut slots in each rivet, chiseled off the big pieces and then used a grind wheel to cut the rivets way down. Then hammered brackets off. Used a punch and hammer to remove rivets and then used various screw drivers, wire, coat hangers to get...
I wish I could add more muffler to mine but since I've got the downpipe running on the outside, there's only so much room under the floor between the rail and rocker. I've got the longest glass pack I could fit under there. At some point I'm going to re do the downpipe to snake in between the...
I guess it depends on how it's used. I'm sure with stiff enough suspension and pure pavement driving it would be fine. i use mine on trails with plenty of rocks, ledges and whatnots but it also gets driven on the street so I didn't want it any higher than I need it.
I told you in your other thread that 315/75/16 is going to rub especially at stock height (and unless you've got new replacement stock suspension, yours will be lower than stock). My 09 is lifted 2" and this is how it sits with. 315/75/16's...
I cut the heads of the rivets off of the rear spring hangers and then wailed away at them trying to remove the rest of the rivets or get the hangers off. They refuse to cooperate.
they have a few designs but here's the original. http://www.mastercraftsafety.com/performance-seats/recreational-seats/original.html
Prp has a daily driver series with slightly less bolstering to make entry and exit easier and a recline feature...
I'm not sure that's a worthwhile swap or not. I don't think the seats themselves are very comfortable. Why not get a suspension seat from master craft or prp? They're very comfortable even on long drives.
Wheel vintiques makes a wheel called the series 12 that might be what you're after. They'd have to be painted but they're similar to the original wheel and come in a 16x7 and in 16x8 like the stock width.
I give up on posting pics. I have a few more to post but it won't let me attach them or upload them from my photobucket or my computer. Why can't the site auto size pics?
Why not install the banks kit and see if you're happy? If not, then sell the engine and kit together.
I'd love the power of an ls engine in my m1009 but the turbo is adequate for trails. I have a 5.3 truck for everything else.
I tried Tapatalk again (used it long ago) and I kept getting errors when trying to post pics, it also said something about administrators not allowing it or something?
