I found this thread very informative on the IP:
http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?42113-Need-to-purchase-an-MEP-003A-injector-pump&highlight=injection+pump
As it turns out, all I had to do to get my IP working was to move the stop solenoid shaft up and down a few times. After that I...
I was able to get the secondary fuel pump going by tapping on it a lot harder than I did at first. Re-installed primary and secondary and it was drawing fuel and after the filters had filled up, I could hear the fuel recirculating back into the tank. I then bleed both filters and loosened the...
Wow, those ultra caps are cool! I'm thinking about replacing the batteries in my 3KW UPS with those the next time they go south (one of the UPS is already giving me a warning that its time to replace the batteries again.
I'm quite familiar with MOSFET. In fact, I built a 2 x 120W audio amp...
I think they are interchangeable. I opened up my box of 6 and here they are:

Just search that large online auction site for "lpw injectors" and you'll find them. More than 10 available is says.
Also called Kraft Power and they have the IP shims...
Lol. The wine glass was really more for scale. Once thing is for sure, the power will be off when wiring the current transformers! Those secondaries can pack quite a punch when open.
That load sharing board looks cool, but I'm toying with the idea of connecting the 2 generators via the 24...
I picked up an Asco Power Manager along with 3 200/5A current transformers. This will allow me to more closely track voltage, frequency and current across L1, L2 and Neutral. Those current transformers are a lot bigger than I expected.

I picked up 6 new injectors from that large online auction site for $50 a pop, so a pretty reasonable deal I think.
Only thing I'm still missing are the injection pump shims. I'll probably end up calling Kraft Power to see if they have any at a reasonable price. Should only be a few bucks per...
Got the first coat of yellow on. After testing with a rattle can on the back, I decided that the unevenness from all the spots where the pain had peeled off and surface rust had been wire brushed off, it made more sense to use a brush so that I could apply a nice thick coat. So I picked up a...
I'll try cutting out the inline RF capacitor on pump #2 just for grins, but yeah, the fact that it draws current probably means that's not it. So is there a good place to source these pumps other than that large online auction site where they are going for around $200 and up?
I'm tempted to...
I played with the pumps some more this morning.
Checked the tube going into the tank. No pin holes
Blew out the line between the pickup tube in the tank and pump #1. It was clear.
Connected the line on the pump IN end and left the OUT open. Used a small funnel to fill the line and...
Yup. Glad I stayed the course!
I worked it over some tonight with a wire brush wheel to knock the rust and loose paint off. Plan to give it a couple of coats of Caterpillar Yellow, which was the closest match I could find locally.
I purposely left the forks 20" off the ground the other day...
I'm still waiting on the IP shims. I'll probably start looking around for another source soon. Spoke to the machine shop about the head for the 3rd unit, and it unfortunately needs new seats and guides as well. So all 3 will have completely rebuilt heads.
I also picked up 2 more 802s from...
Lol, yes that sounds like it would easy to hook up backwards with the cable colors reversed. In my case, I'm confident that my positive and negatives are correct, and my starter works and turns over the engine.
I guess I'll try manually priming the fuel pump to see if it begins sucking once it...
Ike,
The pump does make the clacking sound and I can feel it vibrate as it does so. I already removed the bottom cover, removed the magnet and cleaned it and the inside of the cover, as well as the gasket and the little white and red filter and put it all back together again. I understand...
I'm going to pick up some paint, go to town with a drill mounted wire brush, and then give the body a fresh coat of paint as well as the "floor boards". It should clean up nicely I think.

I got the fuel tank all cleaned out and re-installed and added about 3 gallons of diesel. I had previously cleaned the strainer filters on all 3 fuel pumps. When in PRIME & RUN, the primary fuel pump comes on, but it is not drawing in fuel from the tank. I removed the OUT line from that first...
There were a few sparks right when I first started it, but after about 15 seconds of running, you had to look read hard to see any. I'll keep an eye on it.
I cleaned up the motors and surrounding areas with a rag before re-installing the battery. It looks a lot better now...
Gotcha! Yep, there was a single screw holding the 2 band sections together. After removing the screw, I popped the top section of:

Spoke to Emerson Power and S3 DIP 8 needed to be moved from ON to OFF (this is not documented in the manual at all). After that, the Connectivity Module was able to talk to the ATS controller just fine.
Here's the view of the ATS web page:
The Voltage and Frequency reading on the Emergency...
