I want to thank Dylan for taking the time to post up this most excellent thread. It was an immense help to me and I appreciate it.
THIS is exactly what this site is for: To assist in ways the TM doesn't. The TM doesn't show any "tricks" to moving the engine over to access the booster pump...
I used to put the Ga Rally in the calandar but I thought no one looked at it, I haven't even bothered the last few years. I didn't realize we still had a calendar!
I like the idea but it would be a steep learning curve to "train" the users to begin putting rallies cookouts, picnics, parades...
Nothing is better than the NV4500. Only downside is cost. Everything else is good.

Those will get you started.
I was referring to the area waaaaaay far in the back, past the "bowl" where Mahala was practicing carrier launches.
That area is actually really nice-the trails are in a grid section and they're graveled and all the area is shaded.
The ONLY downside to being that far back is a longer walk to...
I agree. The 12 hookups in the field are not anywhere near enough.
I should reiterate that since the hookups are a fixed asset, anyone can rent them. If you are just an attendee and not selling anything, you are still free to rent them.

So we felt that since D-town isn't charging for or limiting our space that we would take advantage of it...
Everybody, I really apologize-I accidentally locked poof's thread yesterday. I have no idea how I did this.
It takes several steps to lock a thread so I have no idea how I did this.
We started in 2006 with about a dozen people in my backyard for a cookout and in 6 years, grew to an event with over 100 vehicles, 150+ if you count mil trailers. Good swap meet, great offroading, it really is an awesome event.
For scale, the MVPA National Convention, an event that's something...
I think either solid green 383 or 3 color. I think 3 color is the most popular but by painting it solid green, you get potential buyers who like solid green and camo-because they can add the brown and black later.
I think most of us are old enough that our idea of a military vehicle is...
Welcome to the site! Everybody needs a deuce!
mdmorgan is right-the rally is a must-see. In the 2013 rally info thread, there are links to previous year's post-rally pic//video threads. Check 'em out.
Unacceptable. Just hire someone to move you!
Looking forward to seeing ya'll again. A bunch of my Land Rover buddies are coming this year, they're gonna' flip out when they see your and TN dude's lightweight.
