Welcome. Good advice from willwagner. Read, then ask. There is a ton of knowledge here and I am impressed everyday with what I read from others.

My timeline is to have it road running by June 1 but not completed until July 1. I think I'm gonna have to pass on Irwindale. I'm getting so close now I don't want to stray from course.

Painted some more CARC today. I fixed some spots on the dash, finished alot of the small pcs and painted the entire cab interior and windshield frame. I ended up stripping ALL the paint off the floor of the cab...it was dirving me nuts!!!! I'm glad I did because it looks like new. I will...

I agree with Will. Don't beat yourself up. I've had to strip and re-sand several times because of blistering. I'm not gonna get upset or agrivated. I'm just gonna chalk it up to experience and move on. When it's all said and done you'll be happy with the end result.

ARG!!! I sanded the cab interior and windshield area yesterday followed by rustoleum gray primer over the bare metal areas. To my disgust, i'm seeing primer that is still sticking/soft today I.E. 20 hrs later and after an 80 degree day of dry sunshine. I'm thinking if I paint over this, it'll...

I felt the same way. I ended up buying a truck, an extra engine, trans etc for piece of mind. It worked and now I got one!
