So here is Peltor's response about the "INT" connection.
Hello,
There was a switch on the front of the transceiver unit marked INT or TX which allowed you to switch from wireless communication to an intercom between two units with an interconnect cable which plugged into a jack on the top of...

If the link doesn't work go to the paint and bodywork forum and look for "shot some CARC today". I...
I went with the deuce over the 5 ton for similiar reasons. Parts were easier to find and cheaper. Truck is easier to work on. That said, I'd still like to add a 5 ton some day.
I had the exact same problem when I bought my duece. It had sat in the desert for quite some time. I found a broken wire but still didn't get any juice when I pressed the horn button. The PM said replace but when I took it apart, my screwdriver scraped a clean spot and the horn went off. AHA!
I've played with them and I also think they'll be great for backing up type issues. I'm hoping we can up with something thru this group to figure out how to utilize that INT connector. OPCOM may be onto something. It's just too bad I'm a electro-retard!

I can't wait to put mine on as well. I painted my brackets today. I'll paint the winch after rebuild.
I got a pair of these super cheap so I figured I could use them while I search for all the Vic radio parts I'll need.
I wanted to figure out if I could pump music into these. I contacted Peltor but no help. Anyone know if I can use the "INT" connector for this? I'm hoping one of you...
I tried to go cheap and returned my compressor (3) times. That means disconnecting, hauling back into the truck, unloading, re-loading replacement compressor etc. I gave up and bought an ingersol-rand. Paid about $1K with the synthetic start up kit. No problems at all. I paint, run air...
