Don't ding him so fast. You don't know why it is not spraying fuel. Very rare for these pumps to fail, I think only a single case on SS?. Like others said, it may be sucking a small amount of air and not pressurizing the barrels.
Measure inlet fuel pressure, verify pump drive, then pull...
Yep, tang.
You may also not have the pump engaged correctly. There is a sequence to it. Engage fully in "1-5", then move to "N" to operate.
I'm not usually a push the manual guy, but for winch operation to a new owner, it probably is downright needed, because it is not just a...
I'm anxious to remove the large canister filter on my 925a2, to remove the additional leak paths it present on the suction side of the fuel system. Much prefer the filtering to happen on the pressure side, after the lift pump.
Hi Middle. The winch is made by "Garwood".
I doubt you could have broken it. The engagement lever you are speaking about can be moody. Moving the lever to the outside of the truck engages the drum to the motor, and moving it toward the center of the vehicle disengages it. When engaging it...
Not a P7100, just looks like it. Same inline pump assembly, and same gear attachment mechanism (taper). Pump shaft has key slot, but key is not used.
He could remove the governor cap and see if the governor weights/springs are spinning around at a good pace when cranking to check if taper is...
Sorry I may have missed. Did you confirm it will fire on ether?
One member had the shaft strip out on the connection to the stop lever. His would not shut off, but yours could be failed opposite? Just another thing to check.
If OK, then it looks like your pump has something funky going...
Zip tie back the stop solenoid. Dollars to donuts, this is the issue (low batt voltage). Cranking speed stays consistent as voltage drops to where solenoid extends to stop position.
The cargo bed floor is much less sturdy than one thinks. It looks like you plan to install a plate above and below the bed floor, and reinforce the under with angle iron? Hopefully? If you want to be lifting Jeeps at many feet extended out, I don't think the cargo bed floor will have any part...
Ether cylinder: NAPA and KATS use same p/n: 33118 for cylinder, and 33119 for cork seal. 1"-20 cylinder thread, same as propane cylinder. $43 for cylinder, $0.79 for cork gasket. Ouch.
Apology if already posted or logged in Excel. Thanks Simp for the chart.
I use MI weight plates, M925A2. $450/yr. Oh well. Pay to play. If something happens, I have everything correct. Too much vehicle that gets too much attention to not have everything correct. I get asked all the time "is that thing legal to drive?". Can only imagine how many people in just...
Two choices, as mentioned above:
1. Jump one or both parallel MV batteries from the running 12V truck, and crank. This will be 50% effective, and may be enough.
-or-
2. Disconnect MV batteries, and fast charge them from the idling 12v truck by connecting them all up parallel and going to...
It is the spring loaded fuel return valve in the 8.3L injection pump. It is a failure prone maintenance item. It is built into the bolt which fastens the banjo fitting on the fuel return line, at the front of the injection pump. Its purpose is to create and maintain some pressure in the low...
A gear reduction starter pulls 200 amps less initial inrush current, and 50 amps less continuous current while cranking. They weight half of stock, and are 1/3 smaller in diameter and length.
If your volt gauge is out of the green with the engine running, your alternator is a POS. Pic in my...
