Wow, I found the upper part of that antenna in my truck when I brought it home. I should do some more digging and see if the lower section is also banging around in one of the compartments.
Very nice work Darwin. I love the Air Lift rear bumpers. Does the spare now block view of the license plate? It looks that way in the photos, but can't tell for sure.
Suprman advised me on the window crank. 1980's vintage Volvo cranks fit and work. They are all over the big auction site for $10-15 shipped. I found a black one for $9.99
Wouldn't unplugging the solenoid behind the kick panel also cause the fan to come on? Of course you would have to have your nut driver and correct socket along for the cover bolts.
Mark, I'm glad it snapped to life and started working once you lowered the cab and got underway.
That sounds correct as the rear is a full floating axle setup and fluid from the rear diff can flow out to the bearings at the hubs. I believe filling properly at the rear diff plug is correct lubrication for hubs. The LO addresses this by calling out one lube for the rear and has separate...

I just sorted out a fan issue myself, but it involved the air solenoid behind the passenger kick panel. It is much quieter with that working properly! Now we can build some heat since the weather is starting to turn more fall-like.
Not me, but that looks like a nice truck for the money from the winning price quoted on the auction site. The description says it runs, drives, and all equipment works! Cool rig.
It seems like the civilian H1 aftermarket has some options available. I googled "hummer h1 lift kit". Many links can up. Several also mention military applications like this one...
Welcome from Nashville! You are in a good location. It seems like lots of resources come out of Ft. Campbell and many north of you are in the hobby as well.
I just installed the PS magazine app on my iPhone. It seems like a decent way to get to current and prior information. Normal app vs. desktop website usability disclaimers apply.
Congrats sjohn116! It sounds like we've arrived at the place of LMTV discovery about the same time! We will likely be able to learn together as we get familiar with our trucks. I have good glass, so I can't help there. I also "had" two working door handles. Unfortunately, the passenger side is...
