Did it have a VIN number listed on the BOS ? If it was sold in a sale with a HHA there is a paper trail back to the DOD that can be traced.

I would lean more towards the DOD providing states with that information. Also there will be records from any state that originally created a title from a SF-97 , of the original SF-97 in that states records . Just like tracking a manufacturer's "Certificate of Origin" back to the dealer that...

Most scrapyards here in michigan don't sell parts , the state has a whole bunch of different licenses they have to get for parts. Some recyclers sell parts , mostly because they don't want to deal with the sale tax.

The stock A2 exhaust has a turn going to the rear , no flapper, but either way most people put a can or bucket over them to keep the rain out.

Kinda makes you wonder how much they will charge you for Blinker Fluid . It sounds like they are trying to tack on a extra $500 or so to change the batteries, that most likely have to be removed during the RV build anyway.
