    250 engine can't pull a string out of a cats a$$...... (Quoted from member: infidel got me). A2 torque converter locks in at the top of 2nd gear. If you keep the selector in 1-2, it feels like it shifts 3 times, but is not.

    Bring it up, I'll do it. Trade you to mount my full size Volvo charge air cooler in my 925A2 like you did on yours. I have not done the timing on mine yet, but I worked out the procedure and had others check it for approval. Read up here...

    A mechanical military one makes a beautiful replacement, looks stock, and works superbly better. Mine essentially follows my tachometer, even during upshifts.

    With a gasoline engine, yes more rich = cooler EGT. Diesel is opposite.

    I have yet to do it, but advancing the timing supposedly lowers EGT. Member grendel has done so and claims some pretty cool numbers, even with wicked up fuel.

    Guessing radiator scaled up. Is the cold side hose collapsed under suction, or what is the temp difference between the two large radiator hoses? I'd drain and do a Cascade flush until fully warmed up, drain, and repeat. But, start with the difference of hose temps, and belt tightness.

    The compressor comes with oil as long as it was still sealed and not spilled out. That is enough oil for the components and system it was designed for. If you added longer hoses or a larger condenser/evap, I would probably add a little more. Should be a single wire going to your compressor...
