i sold my 3208 deuce several years ago, for an astonishing amount, but it always got 10 mpg. my current deuce, m-621, made more smoke turned up then i thought it should based on ex temp so i pulled and tested the injectors. i have a tester of my own. 4 of them were not spraying anywhere near the...
it seems to me the guy on ebay is lying. it is not a conpmlet harness at all. front harnes is at staurn for $45, rear at memphis for $67 (m-36) just 5' too long, coil it up. a1 harness is VERY easy to make fit A2, just 2 simple changes, and it does have the starter button plug. tom, from a...
if it starts with a jump, the batteries are dead. with dead batteries i doubt you will have any power anywhere to test. put in new batts and go from there.
RE: engine tranny combo
now if someone can find me a 9 litre international at a good price i would be interested in putting the 3053 behind it.............
RE: engine tranny combo
when i had the 3208 engine which would turn 3000 rpm, i also had a .66 od. most of the time was spend running at 2700 rpm, 68 mph. school bus trans do not have od so there is that problem, it would be like driving in 4th.
RE: feul I.Pumps
i bought 2 new heads on evilbay for $200 each and they were us made sealed in box. changing the ip head is real easy, you can do it in 1 hour by the side of the road. well if you don't have a heater in the way you can. if you can read you can learn how to do almost anything. i...
in the early 90's there were nat gaurd units that still had gassers. cms made kit and did swaps for indiana nat gaurd unit as test but did not get contract. used gasser rad and 3052trans with conversion to same od as multifuel, 3053.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Intank fuel pump
if you notice any difference when you turn off the switch, you have a leak. trust me on this. air will come in where fuel will not go out. the booster pump is perfectly capable of supplying fuel, but it is pulling from the tank through at least 5 joints...
mainshafts have to be ground and then induction hardened and then finished to the propper size. other prices soon, but the multifuel will only support so much od and then run out of power. .69 and .66 may be ok for those in level areas, but not hills.[u]
as far as i know there is no really suitable trans due to length or $$$ if you have to have automatic allison is the only real choice. the 3060 without "P" (pto) is short enough to go behind a V8. everything seems to have its own set of problems. that is why i am going forward with od for the...
