Have you checked the fluid?...I bought a deuce out of SC that had all the fluids removed from it.
I topped off all the other ones but forgot to check the tranny.....when I took it for a test run it sounded like it was grinding gravel. Topped it off and it was good to go.

I think it is a HEMMT transmission...I saw a bunch of them yesterday when I was up there.
The HEMMT and the M911 both have the V-8 Detriot in them so they may be the same anyway.

There may be some differences since the hubs were made to hold the bigger tires used on the bridge trucks. Or they may have just put some kind of adaptor on a regular 5 ton axle.

Have you tried JC Taylor.....the do MV's but they put a lot of restrictions on what you can do with it. You also have to have indoor storage.
