I am in Sand Rock, AL........bout 40 miles from you as the possum walks.
I don't do CUCV's but there is a guy in Jacksonville (I think his screen name is Oldsouthernboy) that has one or two.
I have a deuce, a M275 (deuce tractor) and a...
When I was in Germany back in the 70's our wrecker had a siren mounted on the left front fender...it was actuated by a pull chain and was driven by the air passing through it.
We used to scare the ell out of the locals with it.
If you can get enough slack you can clean the line good with flux and solder it with a propane torch....being careful to avoid any electrical or fuel lines.
Apply the heat away from the actual hole and allow the copper to suck the solder into it.
Then install a buffer between the line and...
It was the first red breaker button on the left side of the bank of breakers.
I suspect it is a result of inactivity.
Anybody know if there is something you can spray breakers with (like contact cleaner) that might keep them working as designed.
If you are willing to pull KP and do some pot and pan washing you can eat free.......just coordinate with me and I'll work it out a roster of folks that want to volunteer.
We also need bodies to set up and take down the MKT. It needs to be cleaned before being closed back up. That takes a load...

Fellow Steel Soldier and all around good guy Tigger came by today in his big rig enroute to a delivery.

Tigger studied the schematics and...
A Bud Socket (see pic), 1 inch pull bar and cheater pipe are the best thing to remove lug nuts with......remember the drivers side lugs are reversed.
Using the stock lug wrench and handle can be an exercise in frustration....especially when it slips off and you lose some knuckle skin.
A 3/4...
Have you checked the shut off valve on the Injector Pump? Sometimes they stick closed.
Before you give it a hot shot try bleeding the fuel filters.....the primary (under the alternator) should have a bleed valve on the bottom of it. The secondaries (drivers side of engine) have a bleeder bolt...

Watch out for that Recovery 4X4 guy.......he ain't right.
If you ain't careful he'll load you up and haul you to the GA Rally in Oct.
SCSG-G4 (Mike) has a fully functional Military Kitchen Trailer (MKT) that we set up and cook out of for the duration. There may also may be another MKT there to use as a prep area. In addition Zout is bringing his piggy cooker and doing a whole hog one night.
That being said you are welcome to...
Wait until you are going down a steep hill with a load on and the air drops below 80 PSI......she will kick into neutral and you will be freewheeling with no engine braking ability.
This design flaw was addressed with a Modification Work Order (MWO) that added another air tank to help...
There is no civilian use for modern backout drive lights......during WWII some civy vehicles had them so they could operate during air raid drills or blackout conditions.
I have driven with blackout drive lights and they can be challenging.....you have to know how to read them.....especially...
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.
In the case of some of these characters the pickings may be slim.roflrofl
In my opinion if you are only going to buy one vehicle a private sale is prob your best bet.
You can test the vehicle, get to know the owner and get a feel for what you...
