as stated, do not try to jump start with dead batteries or you will let the magic smoke out of your start box, regulator or alternator (price a 200amp unit) , starter etc and be many $ poorer and much more wiser.
Do not ask how i know such things...
beat the stud out and bring to an old school parts store like NAPA. With the head code marking and a couple of measurements, an experienced counterman using a buyers guide can come up with the stud not a young guy on a computer.. ;-)
These are common and not military specific. Probably dexter...
You probably need the unit that screws into the water crossover. Different ones depending on which box you have. That solved my light problem but it does not mean that you might not also have bad plugs.
Need more pics of where the wires are going to?
What kind of start switch? Oe, push button, key?
That is a 60-80's ford starter solenoid.
Maybe a winch or plow set up?
Looks like it is for a different purpose to carry a portable folding tripod for the tow missle launcher instead of the camo net set up.
Maybe is also removable and used as a base for the tripod and launcher on sand and soft soil? Swag
Radio sincgars or harris, gps, blueforce tracker. laptop electronic gizmo all 24v hot...
Impossible to say as all that is removed at demill and no real way to know what purpose the truck was used for..
I would recommend removing all of it to prevent magic smoke escaping.
Greetings,
Just came back 2 weeks ago visiting the Red Rock Canyon Conservatory in a rental RV. Really neat area. Great Visitor Center and tour road. We even had some of that white powdery wet stuff that is unknown in New Orleans....
Welcome to the madness here :)
I get his family discount as he lives with me and just would not do it with the optimas and could not find inexpensive adapters. Now I can go anywhere with an O'reilly and not be broken down. Most stores do not stock 6tl's. 24 or 24f's are stocked anywhere that handles batteries as it is a top...
So I had access to a regular supply of used 6tl's for a long time :) and when those ran out I started using new O'reilly 6tl's but found they do not hold up and are not excide.... Definitely a difference in OE excide wet cell 6tl's and others copies...
Last month I switched in my Hmmwv's to...
I used c.h. Robinson to get a quote.
As stated terminal pick up is best.
You will need weight and class for the pallet.
Ditto on making sure it is well packaged.
My retirement plan is partly funded by the lead on my hmmwv rims... :)
But on the other hand I have zero balance or vibration issues. Done by an old school tire guy on a Coates balancer
