it looks like the driver side axle mount is pushed back

Not to high-jack the thread but do you have a recommended vendor for those springs? Are those part numbers pretty universal with other spring vendors?

    Mystery part!!

Yeah I have. I removed an old opener the other day and I had a feeling it was from the door opener. It was suspect though because it was way under the truck. Figured I would ask around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mystery part!!

Lets play a game of name that part! I pulled my M1009 out of the garage Sunday and found this little guy under the vehicle. I have no idea where it came from- maybe someone here could help? There is a slight possibility it isn't even from my Blazer. I was removing an old garage door opener...

Living History Weekend at Liberty Aviation Museum- July 28th & 29th

I saw this while scrolling through Facebook- figured someone would appreciate it. It appears that they are having a swap meet, military vehicle show, C-47 rides and vendors of some sort. Might be a cool event.

    Request advice - P400 coming

So jealous! I've been wanting to do this swap into my Blazer for a few years now. Have fun with the build- looking forward to seeing this build thread grow. Very interested to see how she fits in the truck. As for the belt drive accessories, I would keep the v-belts. I would use what I have...

    Lmc junk

Am I the only one who gets jealous when guys have a yard full of parts or project trucks? If I had a bigger property I'd be screwed.

    Lmc junk

From my experience window regulators are a tricky thing- they are either ok or garbage. Heck, I have an aftermarket door on my blazer and when I re-installed the window tracks and regulator nothing seemed to work right. OEM was the way to go on that stuff.

    Lmc junk

We have a fleet of +26 Chevy vans at the company I work for so every time we scrap a van or someone wrecks on I always try to nab the headlight buckets, adjusters, springs etc.

Need advice on M1009 upper ball joint sleeve

That is exactly my concern. The sleeve on the old ball joint was only a little bit below the top of the knuckle and the new sleeve is way down in the hole. Like I said, I followed the TM instructions- just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. I'll wrap up the install later this week when...
