Yes, says up to 30V. You do need to purchase the adapters or else splice the original caps from the old bulbs. I just spliced mine.

LED Power: High beam 45w 5400lm ; Low beam 30w 3600lm
Operating Voltage: 12-30V DC

I returned the cheap EBay LEDs that I had so much trouble with and replaced them with better quality ones. I still decided to go with LEDs and will paste a link to the ones I got.
I did some research this time and found some on Amazon with good reviews. They are more expensive than the eBay...
Yes. Disconnect all of your hoses and your steering link and pitman arm first. There are only three bolts just behind the tire needed to remove the box. They are easy to get to and mine came out with little effort using an impact wrench. I also put the box back on the frame and tightened it down...
I just went through all this headlight hassle myself. Turned out that my two LED bulbs were both partially defective out of the box, and I also had a mislabeled high beam on my truck in the engine compartment. My high beam wire was labeled as ground and the ground was labeled as high beam. Once...
Yep, I told myself I should have just replaced it with the regular old bulbs before I saw these last two posts. Just confirms what I was already thinking.
I believe it was a through bolt but would not swear to that. I do remember removing it completely, and it slid off with no effort at all, so that is why I think it must be a through bolt. It also slid back on with no effort. Just try removing it completely and see what happens.
I put anti seize...
You have to pull that bolt out to get it off if I remember correctly. Mine just slid right off once the bolt was out and it slid right back on as well. That was probably the easiest part of the job.
I just pulled the pitman from the gear box and left it attached to the steering link. No need to remove the pitman from the steering link unless it is bad. I tried to remove it from that side too, and had no luck. With a removal tool, it’s easy to remove the pitman from the gear box.
It is easier to get the pitman shaft off the gear box, but you do need a pitman arm removal tool. I just rebuilt my box and spent hours trying to get the pitman arm off at either point. Had zero luck and just messed up my threads on the shaft. I went and got the pitman arm removal tool at harbor...
I was able to figure this out. Two of the wires inside the hood were labeled wrong. I guess someone clamped the wrong numbers on the wires, flip flopping the ground and high beam.
Further hampering the ability to easily figure this out was the fact the my two brand new LED replacement lights...
This was my thinking, but not sure where to start looking? The wiring harness looks fine and I see no tears or cuts anywhere I can trace it up front under the hood. I thought maybe it was the dimmer switch, but again, wouldn’t that affect both high beams and not just one side?
Is there any...
I assume you mean the headlights? I have two new LED headlights. The issue is I am getting a negative voltage on the high beam on drivers side only. I’ve verified all the wiring it correct, I just can’t figure out why the high voltage is giving me a negative 24.4V instead of a positive 24.4V.
I checked all of that, and everything is plugged in correctly on both sides. The voltage for the high beam is negative on the drivers side. I get -24.4 volts. Even when I measure the voltage on the engine side of the hood, it is a negative voltage.
On both sides the low beam is positive 24.4...
I have been trying to get the headlights to work properly on my M1097R1. I finally narrowed my problem down to a negative voltage on the driver side high beam. This doesn’t happen on the passenger side and both low beams give a positive voltage and both work properly.
As soon as I hit the high...
My 2006 M1097R1 has a plate on the motor that says the vehicle is exempt from any state emission laws. Was also thinking..... why can't you just claim it is the same as a Hummer H1 when you go to register it? Just say it was converted to a hummer H1 and see what they say?
I also got a...
I've been treating mine like and A1 and the A1 manuals have pretty much matched up perfectly to my R1. I found a manual plate for my machine under the driver's seat, and it calls for A1 manuals. I assume the plate was knocked off of the HMMWV by accident, so they just threw it under the seat.
I put some of the Behr paint using the federal tan mixture on mine and I like the texture and color. I just did some test spots, but I plan to spray the entire vehicle when the weather improves. I have one of the professional airless sprayers, has anyone used one of those with the Behr or any...
