Bought a pallet jack for 100 bucks to work the Deuce. Swapped all the wheels/tires around many times.
Ended up with best condition and new everything on the steer axles.

Follow every ground lead back to its own connection and refurbish all that as if it was just new now.

Was very common in "the old days" for oil pressure "switch" to blow out and destroy engines, same technology.
Switch leaked while engine running and blew and put entire output...
Say why you think the liner failed.
Now would be proper to retorque all the bearing, rod, head bolts and install a new harmonic balancer,
the existing is dead, did its job sort of....

Aattach a compressor service air line to the rear gladhand .
With truck engine OFF have soldier B operate the brake pedal while you do your crawl inspection,
actually lot if it is sitting up. get as lot of light.
