I know in my area a winch is pretty much worthless. There isn't anything to anchor to. Other than for looks I would never put one on my trucks.

In the pictures I can't tell what is threaded into the axle. Didi you just pop the top off of the existing vent? Did you also tie in the transfercase and transmission to that vent line?
