I have done a sidewinder on a 6.2 GM aswell as a IH 6.9 both were totally different animals after the install. The owners of both expeirenced 2-4 mpg improvement. The 6.2 is in a half ton chevy reg cab 2wd lowered with 2.90 gears he has hit 28mpg on the highway.

For one thing more boost does NOT mean more power. drive pressure is a big problem with high boost trucks. Modern diesel like the Powerjokes and Cummins have less than ideally designed heads with medicore air flow. That being the main reason the powerjokes and cummins use so much smaller...
