Roger that, I would bet it's really not that heavy, so i could just throw it in my bed a recon. I will talk to my pops when he gets off work and see if he wants to swing out and grab the trailer in the morning.

The 3116 is a great motor all around, the only reason Cat people talk bad on the 31 series is the motors are basically throw away motors. If I remember correctly they are not sleeved blocks so when they wear out the block is trash as you can't just knock out the old liners and slid new jugs in...
Looks amazing, only thing I see that caught my eye was the fifth wheel plate on the truck. Maybe make it look a bit more used??
Don't get me wrong you are the one with the talent I just saw that one thing, the model is awsome, retired old iron pretty neat.
I would get away from the getrag unit myslef and make an adapter plate for the original trans. The 12V cummins with a P-Pump can easily make 600+ hp and be totally reliable so drag in the drive train is no issue IMO. Make it bullet proof and use all the stock drive train just throw a nice 12v
