Our A3's overseas were armored and the would steer decent but they had some heavy plate on them. But I have never driven one un armored. Me and pops are both big guys so steering is no issue really, but we do alot of stuff for boy and girl club and boy and girl scouts so we give rides all day...
I went with electric on mine, 12V runnin off one battery. I have no uneven chargeing issues. Glad to see other have had the same isea. They work great as dumps

Banks does make a turbo kit for the 6.2 but it is $$$$$$$$$$$$$ as stated above. Get on egay or go to a junk yard and grab an HX35 off a cummins 6bt, you don't need an intercooler just dump straight into the intake, you can fab your own pressure box above the intake or use one off of a 6.5...
Absolutely, Diesel love air. Remember a diesel engine throttle off of fuel not air like a gas engine. Therefor a diesel runs at it's full potentail from idle to redline, the more air you can give it the more fuel it can burn and the better of an air fuel ratio mix you will get.
