I had bees in the bellhousing of a WWII TD-18 bulldozer. I too didn't want to kill them. What caused them to pack up and leave was me setting up a water spray on the opening to the colony, which was an inspection cover on the bellhousing. I had to leave it spraying for days.

Will likely need paint. Need to figure out a way to spray paint the ds without throwing off balance. Facing the same issue with my newly acquired 2025 pickup truck that has a nekked unpainted ds that has already rusted.
I think what you have drawings of are the connector pieces for the strands.

The bumper sanding has to be done all the way to bare metal most times.
Your hood number is correct. Very few deuces were sent by civilians from CONUS to Europe, so there is a hint. Try sanding bumpers to detect painted over unit markings.
Your data fits into the database perfectly. Your truck is a 1969 however. Your actual truck does not show up because it was excessed prior to the database query which was done in the 1990s.
I prefer to pull the engine with the transmission attached because I hate having to stab transmissions into clutch assemblies while lying on the floor.
RWH if I could kindly ask you to share any and all safety information related to MT/Rs. I was under the impression that this sidewall issue was only for a certain year(s) of mfg, not every single one of them.
