Thats what I get for trying to recall! Hopefully I remembered correctly for the shutterstat temp?

    Rear winch suggestions

I built one about 25 years ago and use the snot out of it. 5/8 plate would be way overkill, you want to keep it as light as possible, synthetic rope would be a plus as well. I have receivers welded, bolted or pined to the front rear and sometimes the middle of just about every vehicle and piece...

    Just bought an m931a2...finally

Congratulations! Any idea of the loaded weight of your hydro-seeder? Would love to see pics of it, as it sits now as well. @Evil Dr. Porkchop may be close to you and has a hardtop in the classifieds here. Also a good deal on a spare spare transfer case as well, especially if your going to...

Hurricane Ian projected to reach cat 4 - FL panhandle landfall

Current radar and visible satellite look clear for the entire state. The 10 day for Titusville on both my apps shows good weather for the next 10 days, with lows in the mid 60’s and highs in the low 80’s. Hope this holds true for the entirety of Florida…

    My first multifuel?

I believe this was unique to only the wreckers, all the way up through the M939 series.

Battery help w/ dump bed hydraulic pump, big sparks

Sounds like your pump is inadvertently wired positive ground. Should be able to simply swap positive for negative, as well as raise and lower on your controller.

WTK If even Possible to Repair Chain

Some on ebay, but not cheap. You can probably get two cheap grab hooks for less.

WTK If even Possible to Repair Chain

Not a fan of lap links, but several other options… buy two new grab hooks and have two shorter chains that can be used together or separately. Buy a double/twin clevis to join them, or preferably a hammerlock type connecting link. I think Simp had a few for sale a while back but don’t recall the...

    LMTV rims on the m35a2

Yep, sorry I had a brain fart, you need MRAP wheels for those adapters. Some used to play with adapters for the FMTV bolt pattern but didn’t really take off due to having to cut the wheel centers out.

Engine repair or swap to LDS?

What do the liners look like? I wouldn’t replace the pistons due to minor pitting, but I’m cheap and somebody will probably be along to tell me I‘m wrong as well…

    LMTV rims on the m35a2

Not direct fit but there are the same adapter plates for LMTV and 5ton combat wheels.

    5 Ton springs for a m35 bobber

If you are putting air bags on as well, for ride quality look into the long old chevy springs that all the off-roader’s use.

    5 Ton springs for a m35 bobber

Like getting your dog a giant set of prosthetic nads after neutering him…
