Was the truck won for more than it would have likely went for if correctly listed as an 2003, If so might it be worth disputing or forfeiting the action? Unless your in a state that you can very easily wash the title to correct the issue I would assume the truck to be worth 10-25% less in value...
No, unless it’s frozen solid. Just use your favorite penetrating fluid and thoroughly spray the hinge point where the aluminum pedal, pin and steel floor bracket meet. Then start working the pedal while periodically spraying with lube. If it’s really bad, unhook the linkage so you can pull the...
Have you verified continuity of the wire from gauge to the sending unit? Try grounding it next to the sending unit to see if gauge pegs again. Also verify good ground engine to frame, frame to cab, engine to cab, battery to everything. Also try to confirm continuity under load, sometimes your...
I believe thermal will have to be vehicle mounted unless you can drive with the windshield open. Depth perception will be a real problem unless in an extremely familiar environment.
Here is how I add air to my tank through the vent lines. I also keep my little paint gun regulator in the truck and use it to help keep from over pressuring the tank.
Disregard the 90 degree piece of coper tube laying on the tank, that is not part of the air setup, just the old pickup line that...
I believe it’s the same as m925. Vane pump that is not supposed to be run at over 1800 engine rpm and gets very angry sounding if you go above that. The filter is in the return line up inside the passenger frame rail. After setting to allow any water to separate, drain a little off the bottom of...
1990 m923a2 is the same, however the baffle in the fuel tank is different and I believe they may be from a different manufacture but hard to tell with all the CARC on the tag.
Think I need to add a small hand crank winch to close the tail gate back up.
Added a Buyers Products inspection door for dumping grain.
Chains will double as supports and opening limit gauges for spreading.
Nope, my 1991 M925a2 had a copper pickup and rubber return down tube. Replaced them both with stainless, even though the copper was in excellent shape, rubber was rotten and coming apart, still fighting pieces of it sucking up against my pickup . Will try to check my M923a2 tomorrow when I pull...
That is a run-flat. Is that what your old tires on your A3 had in it? If so you need to make sure the rubber bead-lock spacers are the correct thickness for the 11” wide wheels. The two halves of your wheels will actually compress these some when tightening the nuts. Also be aware not to air...
Any luck on installing a hoist yet?
This is what I came up with for a tailgate and mounts. Still need to weld everything out and paint. The top of the tailgate should support the sides while using the bottom latches, and I’ll probably move my 3/8 rod down to the top front of my side plates to...
IIRC the M35A3 wheel is 11” wide vs 10” wide wheels for the FMTV or most other super singles. If so, yes you would want to run A3 specific inserts, whether is be run-flat bead-locks, or just bead-locks.
