What does a "fully loaded 105" mean?

Curb weight for my 1/2 ton is listed at 5800lbs and I know drive around weight is around 6500 lbs. A CDL doesn't make a person a safe tower or driver. It's just a piece of paper. You would probably be in shock driving around in TX but we manage.

Are you still running the 37s? Seems like a lot of drop. There was a guy on SS that un bolted the axle, trimmed the spacer plate, drilled new holes, then remounted the axle a few inches closer to frame.

As others have said, a 105 is large for a jeep. I recovered a 105 with my Tundra, it went fine but would not want to do it regularly or with any cargo. Will be a day or so but I will post a link where I got the rubber connectors.

Bulbs depend on which trailer you get. It's pretty easy to connect a short 7 or 4 pin into the military junction box. It's plug and play if you order the rubber military connectors. Unless you only play to tow military trailers, I would not have a Nato receptical installed on the jeep. The...

I have heard the fasteners referred to as "Huck Bolts" as well.

If you are talking about M101 trailers, hub swaps are not easily done. If you are going to replace the entire axle, sure.

Ithaca did a nice job on his trailer. A drop axle seems a lot simpler than notching the frame or doing a spring under (as long as ground clearance is not a major concern. Ithaca, what is you deck height now?

Had this issue. I removed the light mount brackets then removed paint from the bracket and frame so the bracket and frame were grounded.
