    Covered M1102

Well done. What are the gas strut specs? Can you post more pic of the spare tire carrier? How did you get it up there and how do you plan to get it down?

    Covered M1102

Nice work. A more robust and secure result than tarp and bows.

    M116a3 Wiring

Pull the light and mounting bracket off frame then grind off paint. I had the same issue with same model of trailer from same site :) Didnt figure it out until I cut too many wires and broke one of the mil lights so I ended up replacing the lights as well. All for a poor ground connection...

2 inch ball conversion m1102 trailer

I agree with others and prefer a pintle to ball set up. One way to convert with an A-dapter kit http://www.crofttrailer.com/h3la3ir-croft-ring-to-coupler-adapter/#page=page-1

Lowering the M1101 Cargo Trailer w/ OEM parts.

You would probably be close to level with standard 30" tires and 7 hole riser plate. I prefer to split the difference between the trailer and tow vehicle coupler as well. At some point I will try to make a steel sleeve that uses the bolts from the surge assembly and weld a piece of channel to...

    Rear hitch on M1101 / 1102?

Is it the surge brakes that makes towing doubles a challenge?

    Rear hitch on M1101 / 1102?

Thanks for the info. I have been debating if a standard 83" wide trailer would work for trailer recovery and it looks like it will. A super-wide is a lot more money and a deck over is less practical for other tasks. Have you been happy with your 18' length?

    M1101 hitch modification

The good news is electric brake conversions seem possible for these trailers without an axle swap. 250 FRN could get brakes back. 101s and 1102s are close in weight. I tow a 101 w/o brakes all over and plan to do an axle swap to electric brakes soon. Lately though, I have been pulling an...

    M1102

Just picked one up on Tues. I will upload a few pics tomorrow. Can you post a picture of your tongue data plate? I trying to learn what all of the info means. Mine is a 2009 delivery but 2008 contract from Silver Eagle. Nice trailer with a minor dent on the side.

    Ball hitch surge brakes

I assumed those were pretty common on boat trailers and rental trailers.

M105A2 Replacement Axle & landing gear

Looks like a nice practical trailer now. If I ever come across a cheap 105 I may have to pick it up.

Another Ft. Sill M1101 finds a new home

Looking good DeadParrot. Thanks for the tip on the connectors. I have a few 4 pin pigtails laying around and will make a few of these for myself. How many of each bulb did you use?

What to do with M116a3 wheels and tires.

I got $150 for two of mine after listing on CL for a while. Problem is that shipping is not really an option.
