Looking forward to it. I have one (pending delivery) and am debating what to do with it. I may use it as an expo trailer and make the 101A3 a general hauler.
Has anyone scrapped one and want to share the results?
I have been thinking of pulling the axle, surge brake, and wheels/tires then scrapping the frame and body. I would probably have to remove the draw bar and tie down supports/other small steel parts so I dont get a mixed metal price...
Nice comparison. Going to pick up an 1102 next week and looking forward to comparing it with my current 101A3.
Looks like a nice retreat you have set up. If I thought the tarp would survive TX freeway speeds, I would set up my trailer in a similar way. Looks like the ammo can and fender are...

Another thing to consider, those 37"...
Dont know about the one you linked to, but these guys make some nice tops.

I bought some 16" Chevy 8 lug wheels with 29.5" Dextero tires (from walmart). Lowered the trailer about 3.5" and although I removed the brakes, they wheels did fit before doing so.
My previous truck was a 4.0 Ranger 4x4 with tow package. I would have pulled a 101 with it. Would consider an...
Thanks pma. I look forward to your build.
I posted some field pictures of the trailer over on ExPo. Still have more plans for the trailer but its next task will be hauling some firewood this weekend...
