Has anybody added a fuel booster pump to their a2? I know the 250's are relatively easy starters in winter but at 60* my truck is having a heck of a time starting. I cant help but think if their was a pump to build fuel pressure it would help enormously especially starting deuces with and...
Nice, I know this is an "old" thread, but do you have any problem with the operation of the door after having them on there for what I can assume would be a safe amount of time to find any damage done. I know these hinges are overkill. But are these plates that you put on and don't open the...
Whelp, my addiction couldn't have been eased this past week, so I did lots work on the truck, Changed fuel filters, replaced fuel line fittings that the military generously stripped out for me! And last but not least worked on disabling my CTIS.
Fabbing up caps for the front axle, Pics soon...
Not to much I know about A0 except major differences but I can share about A2's
A0
Great engine, very popular and proven
Same Tranny in A0 A1 A2
A2
Smaller marine engine(with searches 9/10 will be in reference to boating) but its turbo.
CTIS, you WILL eventually disable it, not hard but...
Have you ever answered 2 questions while looking at one problem, well I'm special today I got 3 questions answered!
1. Why did my CTIS stop working?
2. Why were my tires unbalanced, seeing as the rears don't need counter weights?
3. What did the military do with my front wheel counter weight?
Truck si being turned into an A1, CTIS got the 5 stars of death, and I promised myself the first hiccup that I would disable it. Yesterday I unplugged the controller and to day am taking of a front and rear valve to fab up plugs. Pictures to come!
Nice truck! I wish everyone could get there hands on one, They are very armored but like every truck they got their weakness, but for warrants and HVT should be fine.
So the valves that are on the rim you left those alone and just disconnect them at the tire stem and put in a schrader valve? Is this what Im understanding?
So I to am going through this ordeal too, I get unplug the controller simple enough, but how are you guys plugging the axles, tapping and inserting a plug "bolt" or a rubber plug (or even a cork!?!). I am interested apparently this is a common thing but never recorded, or that at least a...
Mine works wonders..... in the summer, starting last week with the new cold weather I started getting 5 stars, suggesting that a seal has shrunk(according to Spicers Diagnostic website), going to confirm that by taking her to a heated shop. Just this has made me thought off capping it off, Its...
I too am having a winch shipped to me, asked several vendors about weight on ALL components in one pallet, and got an avg weight of 1200. Err on the side of safety and told shipper 1400 because of extra goodies on the pallets.
If any body has a pole barn or shop with mice, if you have a space and money, Crushed Granite rock, will work for around houses, shops, or if you have that as you top base in a pole barn or even in the open. It will keep all mice, rats rodents out. The crushed granite is too sharp for their feet...
