I too would say filters if they were not changed w/ the oil.
The other thing that doesn't get mentioned much is the hose from the in-tank to the top plate. I've had to replace the hose clamp on them for both of our truck. Full details here, Surging
If this was for me, it didn't have a vent line on it. They had used one of those bobble head vents that seal against water intake. I hooked it up to the vent line that they disconnected because of the "venting too close to the MC vent" problem. The MC had been disconnected from that line at some...
When I first got my truck it had a vent like they run on the trannys and axles. It would vacuum seal the gas tank after driving a short while . . . pulled that off and re-vented it to an old hard line that was meant for that (the MC has been vented separate).
Haven't had time to study, but does that mean that I would have to get dif insurance? From what I know if I go w/ some kind of "collectible" insurance I would have restrictions . . . can't have that B-)
Would not the rim thickness fill the gap and then some? The thimble holds on the inside rim, . . . or are we talking about putting on the thimble and then the rim?
Just reread the whole thread . . .
Mine does that. I can run w/ the parking lights on all day long . . . turn on the headlights and it will shut down all the electric after a few minutes, then the breaker resets and it starts the cycle again.
Did our whole Dirt Track Travels knowing that I couldn't run at night :)
I've heard...
She's deep in vending/creating mode. After our Dirt Track Travels, which lasted two & half months, she had to go back to work . . . someone needs to support us :)
