Are you looking for one or just curious? I got one in a box under a bunch of stuff. I'm going to pinch my fingers when I dig it out, so I need to know why?
Where in Wyoming are you?
Thanks! I never would have thought of that in a million years, 2 air packs. I wonder if they run off a dual circuit master? This is worth looking into.
"No more Hydromatic Parts around".
If you look you will find them. Whenever I go to a salvage yard I show them a picture of my deuce. Most guys won't know what a M211 or M135 is. If you say GMC Army Truck, they will tell you they don't have any because it got painted another color somewhere...
The 2 speed transfer case with high and low range....isn't. The transmission has the high/low as part of the transmission. When you convert to a manual transmission you only have high range. That is what Metal Magnet means by no bottom gears. It is ok with no load at 50 mph speeds. Not good in...
Agreed with what was said.
Consider expanding the after service history as well. It appears that for some trucks the civil defense, non-government organizations, and local government history far exceeds the military life. How did they get them, what programs, what time periods were they...
It is still there. I thought yours was converted to a 6 pack refrigerator. The one I purchased actually got used.
Next time you come over you'll need to maintain a distance of >20' from any of my body work. It's a rule.
I struggled to produce good welds on torn sheet metal with my big welder. The heat settings are adjusted by a dial with 10 settings, the wire speed is infinite. The best was lowest setting with 0.023" wire with an aluminum heat sink clamped to the back side. I have to pull the gun a long way...
Well, it looks like I committed. Lotsa new parts on the way. Looks like I have 100% of the brake parts here now. Engine is torn down, ready to go to machine shop. I will hold off on the gun for now.
Nice write up. Good useful feedback. The $2 paid the neighbor for the grass/hay/tire tracks or whatever it was. Good point about the GPS. Same with my Garmin. We rolled in one way with a few wrong turns. We left Saturday at 6pm better prepared Hwy 52 West to 51/39 in Wausau was the path home...
-Very well maintained Porta-potties.
-There were campfires and Tom provided cut and split firewood! If it were a dry year there could potentially be some restriction.
-No electricity camp sites this year, but in the plan for next year.
-Tom had a forklift for loading and moving parts. They also...
It was a good show.
There were a lot of people. It felt like more than in my previous Iola years, but it may have been because the show was not spread all over. The flow seemed more linear. You park, see reenactment encampment, show vehicles and then swap meet. I was impressed with the camping...
I just hauled home what I believe is a M38a1C. Mine is the red-ish one with the "roll bar". HndrsonJ got the M38a1. Jim made the deal for us.
I spent 12 hours pounding dents, cutting out the bad and welding in some patches. I'm guessing another 12 hour day and the outside of the tub will be...
