We shall see what they bring . Chances are the first few week of sale prices will be high and then level off to a point. Neat trucks. Would be fun to have one but not much I could really do with it. Just too big.
I have a parts one. Can take a look at the engine next week see what shape it’s in. Strange that the engine failed like that. They appear to be decent units I have had a bunch of them for several years.
Usually the solenoid retracts to allow the fuel rail to move to the left so with the solenoid missing the engine should run full throttle. You can usually stick your finger in there and push the rack in and out. If the rack wont move then chances are one of the injection pumps is stuck down from...
Fold the cab. Drivers side look at the engine computer it’s on the block. To the right of the computer is a power filter box. They go bad all the time and the engine computer looses power. Measure voltage in and out if that box. There is a breaker in the dash for it. Sometimes it trips the...
I used the 6x6 as an example because there are no stock m939 4x4 trucks. I have found a really wide variation of turbo spooling lag between different motors that really should be basically the same. Newer motors seem to spool up a lot faster though.
I like my lmtvs. I think it comes down to personal preference. The m939 trucks were designed with dual tires so when the military went to super singles the larger diameter lead to higher road speed as an unintended consequence. I have pulled with both series trucks and I can say that stock vs...
If you have a charge/low voltage situation that would cause all kinds of issues. Can you measure your running voltage outputs? A standard heavy duty truck code reader will pull codes. Have you checked all your battery and power connections?
The service brakes have a quick release valve its behind the front bumper more to the drivers side. Try cleaning that out. The tm has troubleshooting steps for the brakes dont release issue its not uncommon.
I have seen that happen. Just not on a lmtv wheel. Happens all the time on civilian setups. The military has the tire bead clamped down on both sides between the beadlock and rim pieces so that common civilian situation won’t happen. I don’t think you are being bullied. He is clearly stating a...
I think they absorb spikes. One for each voltage 12 and 24. Normally diodes like that are bridge rectifiers used to convert ac to dc. I never really thought about the fact that there are 3. The trucks seem to work ok without them. Dill Blox makes the panel I wonder if they are in all of this...
I have the complete assemblies both new and used with the valves rebuilt. Not cheap though. You may be able to take off the wheel valve to valve stem hose and have a Parker store make one. Not sure if they would have the valve to banjo connection though.
