    did you find it? it is right after ALPHABETICAL INDEX near the end of the -24 manual. S-1 is really very simple, it is just 4 single pole single throw switches with one end of each tied together.

    don't forget you are going to need an interlock so it cannot be shifted unless the clutch is in. a spring is a really bad idea as it will cause excessive wear on the fork, you need a double acting cylinder, and it will need to have exactly the right stroke, and then what will you do for neutral?

    actually it is the support bearing for the top shaft that is bad, not the syncro, but yes it is a bad idea to hold in engaged with the lever.

    Located on the left side of the voltage regulator, there is a large fuse holder. Apparently most do not have this fuse. Unfortunately it is missing and I can find no info in the manuals about what amperage fuse it takes. Hopefully someone else has a set with this fuse and can read the specs from...

    i was quoted the $400 price by kraftpower in atlanta and the part number was 750-12021 for the pump. of course they could have been wrong, or even looked at the wrong engine. 751-12012 was the number for the unavailable pickup.

    you have to remove camshaft to remove oil pump. there is no need to remove oil pump for relief valve.

    drain oil, remove crankcase cover, remove pressure relief valve from pump. replace. you have to fix your old valve, it is only available with a new oil pump, $400

    it's a tie between power steering and air conditioning. i have no idea anymore what it's like to NOT have power steering, i put it on all my trucks for the past 18 years. tom
