    Oil question (Mysella by Chevron)

    Yup, burn it as fuel.

    Bang!! Pop-Pop-Pop-Pop....

No, that can break the injector tip off in the head. Spray some good penetrating oil ( Kroil) down into the injector bore and keep working it with a wrench while prying up gently with a pry bar. It may take a while, and will take a lot of penetrating oil, but be patient and it'll come out as the...

Deuce with Cummins 6BT Info thread

Are you sure that isn't an 8.3l Cummins in there? It sure looks like it with the turbo slung high like it is. I like that it is intercooled too. I didn't think there was room for an intercooler with stock sheet metal and grill on these trucks.

Deuce with Cummins 6BT Info thread

I had wondered if any of these trucks survived the torch or the exporters... Glad to see one around still.

    Air windshield wiper maintenance

They will never stay parked anyway. Carry some .041" stainless safety wire with you so you can tie off the manual handle to keep the wiper arms parked.

    Deuce rust locations

My first ever fuel run in my new to me deuce and a half went well...at first. Ideas?

Clean the tank, convert it to all spin on filters, and never look back. That's some of the best money you can spend on these trucks. The cannister filters suck gorilla c0ck...

Trans build: Input shaft to input bearing cap fit dimensions?

That certainly seems like it is moving more than it should. I'll check and get back to you.

Need new bullgear. Mine has been apparently been sitting in water at some point.

I wouldn't worry about it. They are steel, not brass. Some pitting is fine, as long as the differential isn't running hot, leave it be.

    m35a2 throwout bearing

Guys, honestly, no offense, but most of you won't ever put as many miles on your truck in the time you own it as I've put on mine in the past couple years, and I haven't had any throw out bearing issues yet. Going on 60k miles now, put around 50k on my old one before the new motor and trans went...

Trans build: Input shaft to input bearing cap fit dimensions?

My seal adapter is working great so far. Still have to get around to getting a batch made up for you guys. I will get it done, sooner or later. The planets just have to align right.

Trans build: Input shaft to input bearing cap fit dimensions?

If you get the Waterloo kit it comes with a new mainshaft and both gears for 2nd and 5th. I also have a new stock mainshaft and gears for 2nd and 5th from the brand new trans that I put my waterloo kit in if you end up needing those.

    You can air them down.

LDS VS LDT and the real differences

Is the cam height different? I was under the impression the the 90101 head produced more volume at the same lift, and just has a larger bore. I don't remember seeing two different cam part numbers in the pump rebuild tm.

    75 mph in a Deuce

I do still have NDTs on it actually. 11.00s.:-D Going to G-177s soon though.

Piston Rings Worn Out, Time for a Rebuild

With the difference in ring tension you found, I believe I would have gone back in with a new set of surplus multifuel rings on the new pistons, especially with all the labor time you have in it. That's just my thought on the matter. Ring tension in a high compression engine is certainly...

    Got another Deuce! ('70)

The Waterloo overdrive is phenomenal! I wouldn't have a deuce without it anymore.

LDS VS LDT and the real differences

Or just get an LDS pump, because that's the only way you're going to get those parts anyway.
