No the lines in this thread carry trans fluid to the radiator to cool the fluid. The lines spoken of in other threads and cause the trans to shift late are vaccuum lines. Vac lines are much smaller in diameter.

I notice with my trucks that have the Limited Slip Diff in the front (M1031 has this), if the front hubs are locked in it steers kind of funny. Might want to check the locking hubs (see if they are actually unlocking) Good luck with the truck.
I have heard Pennsylvania is trying or going to try beet juice on the roads. The liquid they are using now is horrible on vehicles. I have rusty vehicles I drive for the winter and park the nice ones.
Yes Tim was helpful when I picked a truck up at FT Jackson. He pulled the non runner right up on the trailer with the forklift and a chain. That was nice after an all night and all morning drive to get there.
I repaired a CUCV this summer that had been on fire when it was in the military. I just removed the bad sections of the harness, soldiered in new wires and shrink wraped them. It works great now. Didn't cost a lot just took time.

Living in PA I know exactly what you mean. That brine solution does not want to come off. I am looking for a good cheap rust preventative also. With the snow and sleet today the State trucks were out plowing and putting the stuff down today and it is only October 15 th.
