I got it from here:

I buy lots of stuff from them for my projects...always been happy with their prices, shipping, etc.
Probably spent over $10k there in the last 5 years for mag starters, PLC's, relays, etc.
I didn't describe it in detail in my initial post...but that's exactly what I did. The PLC's outputs are tied directly into the generator's switch (via the appropriate terminal boards). The PLC operates the set almost exactly the same way that the master switch would, utilizing the relays...
Thanks for the info; it never crossed my mind that there would be regulations governing the placement of the flag on an unofficial vehicle. I spent 9 years in the Navy...guess I should have known there is a rule for everything! I had just figured that if I flew it above any other flags...
I didn't; that isn't something that had crossed my mind...
I suppose it would be easy to add, but I'm not really sure when it would be necessary. The PLC does flash the field for a full 15 seconds on startup. My thought was that if it wasn't producing power after that, something must be...
A big Master hitch lock!
I suppose they could still rig up some way to chain the trailer tongue to the hitch, but it makes it difficult enough that I don't expect anybody to try...
It allows me to leave the genset/compressor and any other tools at a jobite because the doors can be closed and locked. And, it keeps everything out of the weather...
I have run it for longer in the closed trailer; for a few hours at a time. The trailer isn't insulated and it seems to shed...
I actually built this and shot the video several months ago, but I've been to lazy to post it up here.
I had a really nice low hour -003A that I had been using to power tools at remote job sites, backup power for my shop, etc. I was just loading it onto my flatbed trailer as needed, but I...
I kept meaning to post these pics but summertime has kept me away from my computer
I drove the deuce in the 4th of July parade in Seaside, OR. I had my buddies from the Jiu-Jitsu gym on the bed...a few kids throwing candy, and 2 of the instructors demonstrating techniques on the pads on...
I recently made a purchase there; took a few days to return emails and phone calls and a little slower shipping than promised, but overall I was satisfied...
He goes by avengeusa here on SS
Nice looking fab work; looks well laid out and well suited to its application.
I really enjoy seeing trucks like this modified to suit a particular application and put to work...
How about a few shots of it in action? Or even better, a video?
I have a Warn 18 series 24v winch mounted under the bed on my deuce; I'll try to snap some pics later today.
The winch is mounted against the first crossmember. There is 1 roller fairlead on the winch itself, and another fairlead on the back of the frame where the cable exists the truck (Its...
this afternoon I rescued an A3 that had a minor electrical fire about a mile down the road from my house. The owner couldn't have chosen a better spot to break down; he got the use of my truck and electrical skills and was only on the side of the road for a few minutes. All I can say is that I...
I'm in Alaska right now and the truck is in OR...I can't remember if that was to the deck, underside, frame, etc. I'll take a new measurement when I get back...
They did when I first mounted the bed (I didn't account for how much the bumpstops compressed) Since then I raised it a few inches. No contact anymore.
If you haven't read my thread on my trailer hitch and 12v 7 pole connector, here's a link:

If you make it anywhere north of Eugene and have issues, get stuck on the side of the road, etc...
Thanks!
I only ordered the muffler; can't remember the exact price, but it was under $50. It took me a few hours, a can of header paint, and a few $$ of welding wire to install it.
I did a few simple mods to mine that bumped up the power quite a bit; basically added a water/meth injection system, boost and pyro gauges, and turned the fuel up. I'm guessing that I'm pulling close to 190HP with it now. It still won't win any drag races, but it pulls most hills at 55 with no...
