Pull the front driveshaft and see if it stops. The slip joint in the shaft wears out and causes this, when you engage front drive, it takes up the slack and it goes away. Also will stop if you go fast enough, just like an unbalanced tire.
It could be under the conversation forum, but I'm not searching anot almost 600 page forum for something posted a year ago if it won't come up with the search bar. We all know we saw it though, not like it doesn't exist.
Honestly, I don't remember what size the plugs are. I know they are oil drain plugs you can get at Napa. For the return line, I just eliminated the three way fitting between #3 and 4 injector and ran one line from #3 to #4. I replaced all of the plastic lines on the truck at the same time. On...
The singles usually rot while the tread is still quite high. Not only that, but a lot of the time it is a constant battle to keep air in them. The combat rims suck for that. It is a lot of work to break one down and replace the sealing ring and valve stem, and even that is no guarantee that it...
Actually, even the military started removing these systems from trucks that were equipped with them, and plugging the holes in the intake elbow. Remove it and plug it. I just removed another one yesterday.
Your voltage across both batteries should be around 28-29 volts with the truck running. Your battery gauge may be defective, or not properly grounded. Each individual battery should show 14 volts or more with the truck running. I agree to check and clean your grounds first, I doubt it is a...
I just spent an hour searching and I couldn't find it either. I hope it didn't get deleted.
Even searching on Google images, the pics from the thread don't come up.
By the way, just looked at the pics again, and your truck is not at Polk, it is at Camp Beauregard in Pineville. If you go to Polk, you'll be 50 miles south of where you need to be. For some reason they just list everything at polk sometimes, even though it isnt.
I would also advise bringing...
Agree with the chain hoist! Definitely the transfer case, unless you have a Sprague case, then it could be a linkage adjustment issue. Does your truck have an air shift front axle engagement?
The intercooler is going to be what makes the biggest difference for you. If you run an HX50, or compound turbo setup, you will likely want to install some good head studs. It may have head studs already, not sure because I've not had a valve cover off of an 8.3 yet, but even if it does, I would...
Your pump bushing is worn out. Pull the trans, take it to a transmission shop, and have them put the bushing in with a new seal and reinstall the pump. Way too easy to crack the pump gears trying to do it yourself if you have little or no experience with it. There are also some more gaskets and...
I'm sorry Joe. Not trying to bust your balls too bad. I just still hate to see a nice deuce get chopped down. They have such awesome capability with all six tires, and I know a bobber is easier to handle and park, and everyone has their own likes and dislikes and all that.
