when you have air available, the master cylinder on the pedal does not apply the brakes. it only controls the air valve on the air pack. it is the master on the air pack that applies the brakes. when no air is available the pedal master pushes on the air pack master which applies the brakes. π...
9 psi is max boost at stock fueling rate, you may get close to 15 with fuel turn up, but you will need a pyro. the highest hp lds was 'only' 205, easily obtainable from a ldt.

yes MSC. they could not get the 1"16 tpi left hand tap i needed. had to buy a used, but like new bottom tap on ebay and drive it to york, pa to have it changed into a plug tap. every place has something but not all.

just a little insight into this. i wanted to use as many off the shelf parts as i could so i ordered just 2 tie rod ends that were suitable. they came and i ordered 8 more. NOT available, seems i just bought the last 2 in the US! NAPA sucks! finally found them at another truck place, this time...
that is a good price, but i only made 5 kits and 3 are allegedly spoken for. i will be making another 5 in a month or so but it will take time. i don't want to sell kits before they are really fully completed, still waiting for some items to finish.

as long as the new spring bracket does not stick out more that the head of the bolts that are there now, it will go behind the box by removing a now useless casting tab from the box.

i have done some more web site work, and have an agreement for a major steering rebuilder to sell you rebuilt 710 boxes for $500 + shipping, no core. this means you could have power steering with all fresh parts for less than $2000. now i agree that is still a lot of money, but consider the...
in order to remove water from the air you have to lower the temp so the water will condense out.. the best bet for dry air is a cyclic drier from any modern truck air system. they are automatic and you will never have water in your tanks again.

they have been here in some form before, but here is a collection of the installation on my truck.
the kit refines several points and makes it easier to install, no welding etc. i am 6'3", 280 and have plenty of room behind wheel.
jesse, isn't the small electric pump on the unit just for the times that the main hydraulic supply fails or cannot provide enough flow? so you are going to need a larger supply pump? why not just hydro-boost instead. simpler and smaller, and finding 24 volt pumps is going to be a lot harder. and...
have most parts in stock now, just finishing up the mount and drag link. looks like the price will be $1400 plus shipping and that is without the steering box. this is a special price for SS people, the 'other' price will be higher. i will put an ad in that section when it is ready to ship.

i will provide some measurements for checking clearance, eventually. it looks like it will be about another 2 weeks before kits are available. i am only making 5 kits this time.

that is something to look for. on other trucks it is a loose pinch bolt on the arm that allows the arm to move slightly on the shaft. from what i have seen it is the pitman arm that gets the damage to the spline so i am useing new arms. used boxes go from $200 to $300. if it says METRIC it will...
look at ebay listing # 190643227978 , seems to be the best price and just about the right size. has the correct fittings, just think the return line is too high and at 6 gpm may airate the fluit too much. i ordered one to see how it works anyway. made the supply and return pipes today and...
