How about sticking to air con stuff. I am NOT the post police 🚨 👮♂️ and your question is valuable to us.
A quick SS search with the "Search Fourm" will point one to many of those burning questions or start a new one.
Just a bystander trying to help, HE went dat way, CAMO
Here we go........ Did they ever work? Do the emergency flasher work? Turn signal? Check bulbs... YEP both. Wires not frayed, pins and sockets straight, clean not corroded, bent...etc. Opps. Just read new housing... Added another twist. Get that all wired in correctly? Got to swing...
The remote solenoid, contractor, kill switch, disconnect the batteries for security and ??? piece of mind... could be a good ideal.
As you found out it is key (not the key in hand, but key) to the flow of all the juice going to feed the truck.
Not looking to be that busting nuts or bolts...
I read many fan issues lately ,actually all the time. Lots of surplus sales, so Guys... I would like to ask, Did you just get this truck? (I see the low post counter)
The cooling system is simple auto shop 101 like any V-8 engine. So now who's big idea was it with the wacky HumV fan control...
Shouldn't loose just spoon full.
Valve is above the reservoir and the rest of the circuits. Have a rag at the ready. Pull the hoses and plug with a bolt. Swap the fittings, use Teflon tape, get them going in the right direction and done.
As fluid flows thru valve a sonic sound maybe...
OK... I go easy on you. LOL
Be careful to the terminology I say "BOX" and mean the PCB or EESS. You say box and mean ???? battery box where the KILL / CUT OFF solenoid lives.
Answer some or most of the question for "extra credit" You were quick to respond. In that time, I am leaning...
Sooo now we have some info that point us or me in a direction. One has a slave solenoid breaking I guess the battery feed. Ground side or positive not a big deal.
Got to ask... like the doctor... ya got to cough and where does it hurt?

Do the headlight...
Explain how this kill switch works. The ON / OFF terms are a bit confusing. Really need more info to began a better diagnostic solution.
Hard / challenging time to work electrical issues over the internet. NO magic bullet. Makes for a guessing game.
If you have money to burn one could...
Somebody snorting coke by the defroster vent during break.
Hold you breath and blow it out with air hose.
HumV gremlins be partying big time and busted, CAMO
Snap a overall picture. Where's the 14 volt lead connected? How about the fat 24 volt. that's the one with the goofy fuse washer. Your wires look correct on the regulator. IGN and AC Tap. Got 24 Volts on the IGN when running? Disconnect and check to see if the wire has 24 Volts in the RUN...
There is a diode and a resistor.
Diode is an LED. Resistor is a 300 Ohm current limit resistor. Unit is potted / sealed.
This assembly know to fail. To be sure... ground the "67" lead (hard to get at as it is the short pig tail off lamp) OR ground it at the switch.
If you have "nimple...

That is a fantasstic price. Didn't pay that for my whole truck. Nickle and dimed along the way to get mine where I want it. Most expensive single item was the doors and that was less that half price of today's price. Crazy 12K... thats's a lot of dimes.
Guess the Humv Bear as been...
With those lights, one should be the brightest kid on the site. LED or incandescent, hard to tell. I did read bulb?
