It will start and end at the Claion(sp) hotel in Fayetteville. It's on the corner of Hwy 62 and 540. The rote I'm not sure of,but it will be about 100miles long it's an all day thing, but has lots of stops. So you can get out and BS and what ever.
The new 2006 361-24P does not show or list the frist washer. And in the tm and filter kit, it has a "gasket" for under the bolt ,that is a square cut O-ring that fits in the grove in the filter housing not a fiber washer. Now the wix filter 33511 (made for a Detroit Diesel engine) comes with a...
If it still has the sparge T-case and the linkage is hooked up. I have a truck that got a replacment T-case that is air shifted but they never put in the air stuff to it. You need to see what IS in/under the truck too know for sure.
1) the shaft should have a o-ring or rubber washer. It should be spring , flat washer , o-ring/washer , cone shaped pice , cork , filter.
2) the metal holding the cork on is just pushed into the filter. I just tap mine out only takes a 10 sec. Then I put the cork on the cone shaped pice in the...
It's that time again for the 4th Red Ballin convoy. Last year we had around 50 MV's. The convoy is an all day event, about 100miles long. And a lot of fun.:driver::beer::driver:
It's Saturday April 30th and is put on by the Arkansas MV Travelers the Arkansas chapter of the MVPA.

I was at Bragg in the mid 90's And don't rember any A3's. But I do remember some deuce's with the 11:00R20. They were in a med unit. There were a lot of 5 ton M939's there with singles. But I did not look at every truck there.
Thanks that will help alot.
Is the bottom of the lid flat or does it have a lip where the gasket is?
Yours seem to be on the right way and like the TM shows.
I see alot of the tanks have the hinge on the other end. This seems like a bad idea. I would think that if the lid was not latched...
The ONLY why too know is to put YOUR eyes and hands on the engine. Any thing can and will happen to the can. I looked at one that had a rebuild engine in it BUT the guy open the can then did not close it right. It was a big hunk of rusted junk, the can 8-10" of water in the bottom. If the guy...
For the primy/ filter under the alt use a WIX 33113 This fits better than the WIX 33511
For the other 2 a WIX 33540 has a better micron rating
Oil WIX 51133
And you will need 2 WIX 15221 o-ring/gaskets to go with the WIX 33540 or the WIX 33512's
Here are pic's of the 33113 and a mil filter...
Well I just went and looked at mine. My sides are fiberglass. The things are not hi-locks. They seem to be some kind of rivet. They have a collar like a hi-lock but the shaft is not threaded, it has rings like threads. It seems that the shaft snaps off, not a nut on the collar. The collar will...
If you have what I think you have, I think they are Hi-loc rivets. I could have my trems wrong. Its like a bolt with no way to trun it and a nut that also has no way to trun it? The nut has a hex on it to start with but when you tighten it the hex part of the nut snaps off when its tight.
Or I...
Don't take this the wrong way but are you sure there are 2 diffrent vin's? Why I ask this is a lot of pepole do not understand the military way of numbering the trucks.
Frist the "frame vin" that is the number that the manufacturer stamps in the frame. This is what you should use as the VIN...
The lid for the M149A2 came as a lid or a lid and gasket. It did not come with all the mounting hardware. Unlike the earlyer M149 lid that could be ordered as a unit. So unless you find some one parting out a tank, you will most likly have to pice it together. Sam Winer has the old one for the...
