I suspect bad ground... Got a grounding harness installed?

    Conflicting Oil Capacity

Apparently your dash tag is from an A0/A1 truck....

    value of a canvas for a m1101

I didn't see your comment when I posted. That's really strange. Looks like you and at least one other place a value of $600ish on the whole thing - my link was to an ad where RWH is selling them for $600 for the whole thing.

    value of a canvas for a m1101

https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?189626-TAN-M1101-M1102-Tan-top-kits-%93complete%94 Looks like at least one person places a value of $600ish on the whole thing. I'd call just the tarp $200ish. Shipping just the tarp is $100 or so, so value varies with location.

New To Me Engine, Won't Start

I know ether is a bad idea in these engines, but.... Starting with a cold engine and glowplugs disconnected, crank it and give it a brief squirt. Just to see.... Edit- oops, I went back and now see you already did this. Edit again - I would think ether would ignite at the 200 compression...

    Hard top

With a cost of $8k up front and $2k per unit.... sell each one for $2500 and your break even point is 16 sales. I would think finding 20 people to pre-order wouldn't be that hard. On the other hand, if it were viable likely someone would have done it by now. I guess I'm a minimalist, but i...

    Hard top

Make it cosmetically similar to the slant back and you could probably sell a bunch of them at that price point.

    fuel tank filler strainer removal

My assumption was 939series trucks. They're just threads, but they are notoriously difficult to remove.

Strap wrench. Or a belt and a crowbar.

Date codes? Load range D? Load range E? Which wheels exactly? Pics?

    5 ton wheels

I think he means the CTIS lines on the wheels. Those should just be removed and a valvestem used.

Wanting to mount these on m105

The tires are the same (395's) but the wheels are not. The MRAP adapter plates won't work with the LMTV wheels.

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

Nope. CO DMV internal memo says not to title or register any military vehicle, including historical interest MV. Here's a screenshot of the memo and a screenshot of a close up of the portion that kills the historical ones also...

Trailer lighting and lamps help please

The rear where the shackles are is steel. (Presuming 1101 variant)

New guy with a slant back question

These things all leak to a greater or lesser extent. The slantbacks more than the rest of them just due to the design. As for me, if I wanted a slantback, it'd have to be a real milspec slant back. I'd get it that way up front. I'd pay the extra for the 4speed transmission and seriously...

Trailer lighting and lamps help please

I just stick magnetic 12v lights on for towing with a civvy vehicle. I leave the 24v alone and use it when towing with a military vehicle. I hate the thought of hacking up the 12pin connector.

lil air compressor from GP kansas to Louisana

I'll be back in KS in a couple of weeks. That's about an hour from the house. Those little trailers tend to be nontowable on the road with a max speed of 15mph. This may be something to consider. I will have an M925 and an M998 to work with. Worst case, if you haven't lined something up by...
