I get this too. It is primarily the oil pressure gauge. I may wheel it out in the sun and open the panel tomorrow. It will be a good time to check for the gauges that can accept bulbs.
Does the LMTV have an air cleaner flow/restriction gauge in the cab like other MV's? I can't say I recall seeing one in photos. Either way it would be good to hook one up temporarily and test the shorter intake stack while under load. It's always good to test before a build takes a specific...
Resurrecting an older thread here, but recent new member and need to sign in. Looking to buy a MV in the next year. Thinking of an LMTV or a HMMWV first. Storage is a bit of a challenge where I live since we are 1.6 acres on the side of a hill. I really like the LMTV, but the HMMWV would fit in...
That makes sense when you think about it. You really don't want to be operating the hydraulic features without the vehicle secured. I can see how it didn't occur to you though. I've done similar things many times. It's the "cost" of education to do things manually a few times. Then I remember...

I read the thread too. NDT is a phenomenal guy. I know this without ever meeting him, though I hope to have the pleasure someday.
Thanks to mkcoen for giving proper recognition.
Boy my photos were really lacking. I'm so sorry. I really wish I'd have spent a bit more time and effort to get some better shots. I'll know next time. Thanks you guys for all the input here!
Thanks for the updates mkcoen! We are all glad the recovery went well. I'm still subscribed for additional photos and discussion as you get acquainted with the truck.
