It should be quite obvious what the problem is. Don't worry about the bearings, it wasn't driven much if any at all without 2nd and 3rd. The metal usually just falls to the bottom and stays there. There is no oil pump in these transmissions.
I could send it to him. All I needed from what you sent me was the throttle lever shaft. I still need to send you some $ for that too, just broke at the moment.
Rusty, by that time all the engine rebuild components and good spare engines will be dried up too, not to mention other consumables. And what about transmissions? There aren't an omitted amount of them out there either and they break on a regular basis.

Steve6x6x6 has the Newstar rubber boots on his A3 bobber, which he wheels hard, for over two years now without a tear. I bought a pair from him at the GA rally and so far the one I have installed has lasted longer than the last pair of rubber nos boots.
He did mention that Newstar boots used to...
Agreed. If you have two parking spots in that contract, you are paying for them. That bobber is no bigger than any other pickup truck, just taller. Now if you have a habit of parking improperly and impeding other tenants ability to park comfortably I might understand where they are coming from.
