That is a faulty airpack regardless of age. Now, if they start applying after a few stops, that could be other items. If you crank the air above 60 and the brakes apply themselves, that is airpack for sure.

Tentage repair kits usually have stuff for that. Tent adhesive and tarp material makes for a durable repair.

All M1028s came with the overload springs from the factory. ORD also has a warning about the ubolt kit not working without a shackle flip. Something about the ubolt plates contacting the springs.

I can't say for sure but on several vehicles I've owned, I drilled them like a towbar pin and added a keeper that way.

There is a whole buch of brandy new looking ones palletized ready for shipping. They are sitting right behind the stacks of WWII Jeeps in crates that were selling for $50.

We are not having a great time, it's hot. I have 40 hours of work to do each day and the closest White Castle is 900 miles away.
